Immigration DNA testing can be a long process and involves multiple moving parts and organized corporation from all parties involved.

The Proccess: Valid photo identification is required for all parties involved.

1. The U.S. relative, or petitioner contacts Attest DNA and schedules an appointment at one of our accredited labs and pays the required fee.

2. After payment is received, the US relative, or petitioner, will then have their DNA sample collected (buccal cheek swab) and the sample is then sent for analysis.

3. Once completed the visa applicant will then make an appointment for DNA testing at a U.S. embassy or consulate and pay the required fee. The payment receipt must be taken to the appointment or it will be rescheduled.

4. The visa applicant's DNA is then collected via a buccal cheek swab while being witnessed to ensure accuracy. The sample is then sent to an American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) laboratory facility for analysis in the U.S.

5. When the DNA test results are received, the visa applicant may then continue the application process.
